Beach Bright’s

When thinking of beachy colour schemes, most thoughts lead to sandy yellows and various shades of blue, however when you think a little deeper a whole rainbow of colours come to mind. Take a photo of any beach and you’ll quickly see many bright and beautiful colours – from towels to beach umbrellas, sea shells, driftwood or coral. If you’re looking to give your home a bright, beachy feel (without the typical blue and yellow or iconic anchors) how do you bring that beachy feeling home? Colour is a big part, but so is texture and form – raw, natural textures and furniture that is relaxed and casual in it’s form. Many of us already have our homes furnished so today I want to take a look at colour – because, it being mid-January in Sydney, is the perfect time to transform your home to a beachy pad. Take a look at the below images for some inspiration on how you can inject a little sand and surf into your home.
