Colour of the week – Duck Egg Blue

Duck egg blue – Why not? It seems we are on a bit of a blue theme this week with the interior design trends focus and now our colour of the week – duck egg blue. That being said, I feel like duck egg is in a league of it’s own. While still holding many of the same properties as a true blue, duck egg has a softness that is quite unique. The colour can be paired to create beautiful classic combinations or incredible modern concoctions. It’s soft and neutral enough that it can be combined with a huge variety of palettes, from fluoro (if you are into that!) to cool pinks or reds and even sleek black. Take a look at the images below for some of my favourite duck egg blue combinations.
